Congratulations to P6 pupil Ellen who only started playing badminton last year, and has already made great friends from other schools and been invited to a number of clubs (Tall Oaks at Forrester High School and the Lothian Development Squad). She has really, really enjoyed herself and seems to have found a real passion for the game.
In December, Ellen played in the Lothian U12 badminton tournament in Penicuik and finished runner-up in the Girls' Doubles and Third in the Mixed Doubles. She also had a number of brilliant matches in the Singles, narrowly losing a couple (22-20, 24-22), and as a result she has been invited to join the Edinburgh Primary Schools Elite Squad!
